2m IEC C14 Plug to 1 Gang Mains Power UK Socket

This IEC C14 male plug to 1 gang UK mains power socket allows you to connect a device which is fitted with a standard UK plug into a rack mounted device.

It solves the problem of connecting up a device to a UPS or IEC distribution board which doesn’t have a standard IEC socket so a IEC extension lead can be used. This can often be an issue when installing the various IT hardware into a rack cabinet. Examples of this would be connecting up a laptop, router or PoE injector.

These lengths are ideal in this situation - long enough to reach but not so long that you have a lot of excess cable to cable tie and make neat. The flexible moulded collar at each end of the connector protects the internal wires from any stresses or strains than might be applied to the cable whilst in use.
